…The Lovers, the Dreamers and Me… By Benjamin Lau
Created in 2021, it is made of composite materials such as sponges, metals, plastics and found objects.
This work puts a spin on making mundane, everyday objects seem much more important, more fun, more beautiful and more interesting than they usually appear.
Just as the rainbow is an extraordinary result of the combination of two often over-looked ingredients, the sun and water.
We too…on the most part are all ordinary but together we can be extraordinary.
The coloured version sold at auction for HK$60,000.
…The Lovers, the Dreamers and Me… (55 x 55 cm) may be commissioned for HK$38,000 inclusive of frame.
