'Hong Kong Island Aerial' silk chiffon scarf
This is Douglas Young’s imagined view of his home, Hong Kong Island. Thanks to cutting-edge printing technology, it is a highly detailed image showing individual buildings, boats and streets.
Although the image is based on satellite photographs, it is however not a true-to-scale representation. Young has creatively enlarged what he considers to be the key buildings most familiar to locals in order to emphasize their importance. The gradual fading of the background gives this two-dimensional image a stunningly life-like effect.
G.O.D. 100% silk chiffon scarves are super soft with bright and bold colours. Each small scarf is 65 x 180 cm with a hand-finished rolled edge.
Using the latest printing technology ensures the best graphic clarity and colour vibrancy while the hand-finishing certifies a durable finish and invisible stitching.
To maintain its prime condition, we recommend dry cleaning only. For the elimination of creases, lightly steam or iron with a towel in between to protect the delicate silk.
