Statue Square is a public square in the heart of the business district in Central, Hong Kong. Built at the end of the 19th century, Statue Square sits off Des Voeux Road Central surrounded by Prince’s Building, Alexandra House and Chater House. It got its name from the statues of British aristocracy that used to occupy the Square before the Japanese occupation of Hong Kong during World War II.
