ANDY IVES - SALVUS
**ONLY AVAILABLE UNFRAMED**
Yick Fat Building in Quarry Bay is one of the most photographed spots in Hong Kong for a good reason. Andy chose a rainy night to shoot here. Long exposure with a tripod and wet walls made the building glow the way he imagined in his head.
Density and light are two central features of this eerie composition.
Andy Ives - Australia / Hong Kong
Andy moved to Hong Kong from Australia in 2015 and fell in love. Neon signs, rain, and gritty street scenes are central to his compositions. He experiments with unnatural colours in editing. He creates futuristic and surreal photos.
Andy loves to shoot down to the street from above, trying to find small vantage points from a few floors up.
He currently spends his time between Hong Kong and Australia, travelling as much as he can in between. He has exhibited in HK, China and Australia and sold his work online for numerous brands.
