A blank greeting card with an image of Dragon Boat races edited from a painting by Fabienne Veryepe of diFV-art.

According to popular legend, the Dragon Boat Festival (also known as Tuen Ng) originates from the Zhou Dynasty when Qu Yuan, a well-known poet, was banished for opposing the King's alliance with an enemy state. In protest, he drowned himself by jumping in the river. The local people, who admired him, raced out in their boats to save him. When his body could not be found, they splashed the water with their paddles, beat drums, and threw rice parcels into the water to distract the fish from eating his body.

This card has been edited from pictures of paintings by Fabienne Veryepe of diFV-art which are inspired by Hong Kong's views, life and traditions. Each card is blank inside for great for any occasion.
