To celebrate its 80th anniversary in 2012, Kjeldsens partnered with G.O.D. to bring back some Hong Kong nostalgia which Kjeldsens was firmly part of since its famous butter cookies first sold in Hong Kong in the 1970s.
Beyond commemorative merchandise made especially for the occasion, G.O.D. also transformed a part of its store into an old fashion general store, highlighting Kjeldsens and its place in HK culture.
G.O.D. partnered with Cathay Pacific to exclusively design the amenity kits that were distributed to passengers of Cathay Pacific Premium Economy Class. Eight new bags were introduced each year from 2012-2016.
The kits were specifically designed to be collected as a set. Each kit had a button which allowed additional bags to attach to it creating a wall-hanging accessory. Passengers were able to look forward to receiving a new design every 6 months.
It is an age-old Chinese tradition to carry a bird in a bird cage, and it is believed its singing spreads joy to all who hear it. Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong joined hands with G.O.D. to present a unique gift idea - an original G.O.D. design - the Bird Cage oil burner.
Exquisitely crafted with matte white porcelain and embellished with a golden songbird on top, the burner creates a soothing ambience with its flickering candlelight gleaming through the “bird cage” adorned with Chinese cloud embossment.
Established in 1979 and with over 600 members, the Classic Car Club of Hong Kong (CCCHK) looked to G.O.D. when they looked to set up the Hong Kong Classic Car and Vintage Festival in 2014.
From custom merchandise to operating an on-site store to sell these to attendees, G.O.D. further provided previously featured artwork as an additional attraction at the festival.
