This is an illustration of a classic dim sum table by Sian McKeever for G.O.D. A perennial Hong Kong favourite, dim sum are bite-sized dishes typically served in bamboo steamers or small plates. Dim Sum in Cantonese literally translates to ‘touch the heart’ and having dim sum is very much a social affair to be shared with family or friends — the more the merrier! Highlighted on this illustration are some of the typical dishes such as fung zaau — chicken’s feet (鳳爪), har gow — shrimp dumplings (蝦餃) and cheung fun (腸粉).
G.O.D.'s collection of side plates are the perfect size for serving salads, entrees/appetizers, cheese or dessert courses. Sold as a set of four, they are made of bone china and are dishwasher safe.
