In 2021, Valentine's Day and Chinese New Year fell on the same weekend so Stanley Plaza and G.O.D. created 3 selfie scenes themed on the Cantonese slang ‘Caang Toi Goek’ (to dine tête-à-tête). The displays ran from 6 February to 28 March 2021.

Caang Toi Geok' took inspiration from Hong Kong film posters to transform Stanley Plaza and Murray House into a modern cha chaan teng and chic wine bar aglow with retro neon lights against a backdrop of iconic G.O.D. motifs.

The romantic ‘Caang Toi Goek’ scenes captured the mood for love in a ‘bistro’ or ‘bar’ mise-en-scène, similar to some of the most famous film posters from Hong Kong movies!

There was an added bonus wherein if customers spent a designated amount during campaign period, they could order a personalised Valentine’s Special water bottle and mug with a G.O.D. signature print– a perfect gift of love on the romantic festival.
