These serving plates will bring prosperity into your home. Featuring artwork by William Lim, the designs are inspired by Chinese 年画 (New Year Paintings) - A colourful and graphical style of ink painting, carrying auspicious meanings.
This design is the Dai Gut Dai Lay ( 大桔大梨), a wish for good luck and may thngs go smoothly. Gut and Lei originally mean luck, but also phonetically resemble the Cantonese for tangerines and pears, hence the design. Hopefully you enjoy these fortuitous fruits.

William Lim introduces himself as an “architect, artist and collector, not necessarily in that order”.
