Ninjas have nearly a millennium of legacy in Japan, but their roots are some 2000 years old from China. The cunning tales of ninja stealth is a direct result of espionage detailed in Chinese military strategy. Within China came generations of trained soldiers, scholars and assassins, employed by royals across countless dynasties.
The Chinese assassins were deadly effective, but these skills were also used for good. At the end of the Warring States period, around 250 BC, many former knights rejected the quiet life, choosing to live as Youxia. These wandering vigilantes travelled the lands, using their military instinct and martial arts to right wrongs against common people. Defending the weak, they spread the Mohist philosophy of impartial caring, promoting an organised society.
Inspired by their story, this is the GOD Mohist collection. Lightweight, loose-fitting material allows for the dexterous mobility that the Youxia needed. The asymmetric zipper adds to the cloak-like feel.
