This beautiful glass bauble is incredibly and delicately hand-painted using the ancient technique of ‘nei hua’, sometimes known as ‘inside painting’. Skilled artisans use a specially designed brush with a curved handle to delicately draw the outline of the illustration on the inside of a glass bauble. Sometimes the brushes only have a single bristle. The process takes 24 hours to complete.
Day to Night features iconic Hong Kong scenes with famous local landmarks and imagery at both ends of the day.
