What is 'Bubble' x 'Waffle' ? Bubble Waffle! It is made is by pouring a golden egg batter into a waffle mould and then baking. What comes out are known as 'egglets' or 'egg waffles' or 'egg puffs' (aka 'gai daan jai'). Vendors lay it on a cooling rack to make sure the waffles become crispy before you eat them. Trust us, it is worth the wait.
Besides the bubble waffles, Playful Socks is also introducing you to a snack which often goes unnoticed - 'Red Bean Pudding' (aka 'Put Chai Ko'). This pudding is perfect if you pair it with a cup of iced red bean drink with coconut milk. Yum!
