It was already 12am, the fortune telling stalls at Temple Street were still open and people were queuing outside waiting for their future to be told. The stalls on the left were mostly for Western psychic readers, offering psychic readings that involved tarot cards and astrology. And on the right side were stalls for Chinese style fortune teller, such as face and palm readings, feng shui masters etc…
My friends and I decided to try on the “Fortune Telling Bird Man” called 草蘆 and had our future told.
